YADULLAH YASA
Yadullah Yasa was born in Ghazni Afghanistan.
I have Bachelor degree in Cinematography (writer & director) from Kabul University.
I am living in Indonesia as a refugee since August 2013, at the beginning when I came in Indonesia I faced lots of problems and difficulties, it was harsh that the prime minister of Australia said refugees are uneducated, therefor I decided to make films to show to the world that refugees are not uneducated and there are so many educated and talented refugees around the world so, I start making films to raise the refugees voice and share their talents with the world but I was out of equipment even a camera and computer, so I started making short documentary of refugees with my little smart phone.
I created a page on social media(YASA FILM) in 2015 one of my documentary was nominated for a short documentary reward, getting that reward wasn't important for me, showing and sharing the refugees activities and thoughts with those audience was my main goal, there I found my films helpful to raise the refugees voice and that's what I am doing now and it became my goal in my whole life.
